After spending 15 years overseas, I returned to my home island of Hokkaido. Reconnecting with nature and a slower lifestyle here felt incredibly meaningful — especially in Yoichi, a small seaside town just west of Sapporo, surrounded by both the sea and beautiful mountains.

I’ve always loved travel that goes beyond sightseeing — experiences connected to nature, culture, food, and local people. Many of the guests who stay with us are looking for something a little different from the typical tourist route. They enjoy discovering hidden places, experiencing local culture, and leaving room for spontaneous moments along the journey.
Today, I split my time between Tokyo and Hokkaido, and I’ve come to appreciate the simple things that are often missing in busy urban life. Early morning runs, local seafood dinners, snowy mornings, wild mountain vegetables, and coffee with mountain views — these quiet moments may sound simple, but they are becoming harder to find.

Family travel is especially close to my heart. Our villas are designed for families and small groups to enjoy private, relaxed time together, while still enjoying local life and seasonal experiences.
As a mother of two myself, I understand that every family travels differently, and I always try to create flexible and personal experiences based on each guest’s pace and interests.
I also love witnessing those small but unforgettable moments during travel — children trying something new for the first time, families sharing local meals together, or guests slowing down enough to truly experience the rhythm of Hokkaido life.

We regularly share everyday moments from Yoichi — seasonal food, quiet mornings, local experiences, and family-friendly travel ideas.
